Bolivian Beauty in North Carolina

August 12, 2014  •  Leave a Comment

Some of you may know that I few weeks ago I left little Switzerland and flew to North Carolina. On the second day of my stay I met Paola, who is originally from Bolivia. She only moved here recently and thus did not yet have the chance to learn English. My beginner level of Spanish is only enough to understand a few words, but not for giving Paola any instructions. Thankfully we had our mutual friend Jocelyn with us. She was not only our translator, but also our driver, assistant, behind the scenes photographer and videographer. And while Paola and I where invited to stay at her house until we could move in to our places, she was also being our mom and at the same time taking care of her own three small kids. Thank you so much Jocelyn, you are the best!

A day surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature, shared with new friends. I am very thankful to have met these two lovely ladies!

and here some bloopers....
